The latest National Diet and Nutrition Survey reveals that most of us aren't achieving the UK Government's daily fibre recommendations for health. One of the best ways to help meet the recommendations is to choose wholegrain foods more often than the refined counterparts - think wholegrain rice, bread or pasta. Other examples of wholegrains include oats, quinoa, rye, whole-wheat wholegrain couscous and plain air-popped popcorn.


We've all seen or purchased 'brown' products that look like they're wholegrain - but how do you know if you're actually getting the real benefits of wholegrains?
